Campbell is a predominantly residential community with an enticing downtown located southwest of San Jose. A majority of Campbell’s real estate is comprised of single-family homes constructed in the 1960s and 1970s. Older properties, such as the attractive early-20th century Craftsman-style homes, are mainly clustered around the downtown area.
Renovated buildings and lovely streetscapes grace the downtown area, home to quaint shops, cafes, restaurants, a theater, and coffee houses. Its year-round Sunday morning Farmer’s Market makes it a destination for many in the surrounding areas. It features fresh produce, arts-and-crafts and live music. It is also home to the remodeled Pruneyard Mall which boasts 250,000 square feet of coffee shops, clothing stores, beauty salons, dozens of restaurants and Trader Joe’s.
